Make Sense
MakeSense is a global organization dedicated to solving social problems by mobilizing the global community of engaged citizens and social entrepreneurs. One of its flagship programs is SenseCube, a social innovation incubator.
The SenseCube is an intensive support program for social entrepreneurs seeking to develop innovative solutions with a high social impact. It provides an incubation space where entrepreneurs can benefit from mentoring, specialized training, strategic advice, and a network of experts to help them bring their ideas to life.
The SenseCube program focuses on creating sustainable and profitable social enterprises. It guides social entrepreneurs through every stage of their project’s development, from validating their idea to launching and growing their business. Participants also receive financial support in the form of grants, investments, and access to funding networks.
In addition to mentoring, SenseCube offers a collaborative environment where social entrepreneurs can connect, exchange ideas, share experiences, and collaborate with other social innovation stakeholders. This fosters synergies and fruitful collaborations within the MakeSense community.
MakeSense also relies on the active participation of volunteers, known as “Sensemakers,” who work alongside social entrepreneurs to address social challenges. Sensemakers contribute their expertise, skills, and creativity to help entrepreneurs develop innovative solutions and overcome obstacles.
Through MakeSense’s SenseCube program, social entrepreneurs receive comprehensive support to transform their ideas into projects with tangible social impact. The program fosters the emergence of sustainable social enterprises and encourages collaboration among entrepreneurs, volunteers, and experts to find solutions to the most pressing social problems.
